Canine Good Citizen Program
(CGC)

The Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Program is a two-part program that is designed to:

• Teach responsible dog ownership.

• Certify that dogs have the training and demeanor to be reliable, well behaved members of their families and communities.

  Family Pet Dog Training encourages all family members to participate in classes. The purpose of the CGC Program is to train your dog to act mannerly in the home, public places, and in the presence of other dogs.

CGC Program includes the following:

1. One and one-half (1.5) hour private meeting with Ann Becnel.

2. Eight (8) hours of class instruction time.

3. Educational packet with clicker.

4. Off-leash play group (fenced training area) and nature trail walk.

5. CGC test and certificate.
